Exploding out of Calgary, AB with their unique style of punk rock that has been shaped by influences that range from delta blues to Oi!, but never ventures far from the structures of rock 'n' roll, RUM RUNNER offers an excellent fusion of music reminiscent of fellow contemporaries FLOGGING MOLLY and earlier originators of the celtic-punk style, THE POGUES (as seen by their excellent cover version of "Body Of An American" by The Pogues, released as an exclusive B-side to this single. Even though the obvious style and sound of this band is definitely of a 'celtic' persuasion, RUM RUNNER appeals to all types of music fans from punks to skins to rockers, etc.
